BigRock diventa poliglotta.

Hi everybody !
Grammar rules have a limited value but will be dealt with in a passive/ discovery type logic.
Besides role-playing, mingling, and drama/acting that create real situational dialogue (where the std can rehearse/try with the double advantage of being kinetic) ….we will use some proven motivating video/music activities. Movie clips/ entire films in original language, music videos with lyrics (for lexical analysis), sing-a-long (karaoke)…… unusual but valid methodology for language learning.
Unconventional, but why not, strategies (with the main objective of practicing team-working/ collaboration ….. fundamental in this field) applied to communicative activities in English we will develop/experiment with are:
Compose a complete song; music/lyrics/video…. possibly costumes and dancing (choreography) included.
Design and produce an article of clothing……possibly final mini fashion show to music.
Make a cartoon strip from scratch……. design characters, dialogue, ect.

It promises to be a very challenging (for all of us)….. motivating for the students type of course.
I’m really excited!

After all we learn better what we hear, see, and DO, right!

K.
